W&W met up at the infamous Trance Energy event in 2007, to witness their first collaboration 'Mustang' blow away that same crowd only a year later. A unique sound, fusing the melody of trance and electrifying beat of electro with the energy of techno, was born. Now, three years later, the duo has solidified into one of the freshest, most exciting electronic dance acts on the scene. W&W originals 'Arena', 'Mainstage', 'Alpha' and 'AK-47' were instant favourites, as well as their remixes for Armin van Buuren, Marcel Woods, Allure and Aly & Fila. Magnetic Flux - Nightmares [2007]

This track was sort of a follow up for "Allende - Disillusion". Deep and dark progressive house. But at that point the Allende project was already established as a melodic trance project, so I needed another alias for it. Magnetic Flux was originally my techtrance project, with a remix for John O'Callaghan on A State of Trance label and an unreleased bootleg of Sander van Doorn's Punk'd. However I thought from now on I should release all non-melodic oriented stuff under this one. The track is somewhat atmospheric, dark, driving and uses a vocal sample (public domain) from a 1955 horror film Dementia (Daughter of Horror), that really adds to the eerie atmosphere. After the track was finished, immediately the first label that came into my mind was RPO. Since who does dark progressive house better than Rick Pier O'Neil. So initially I was very happy to sign this track there, but unfortunetly they didn't really do any promotion for the release and it went more or less under the radar.
