Magnetic Flux - Nightmares [2007]

This track was sort of a follow up for "Allende - Disillusion". Deep and dark progressive house. But at that point the Allende project was already established as a melodic trance project, so I needed another alias for it. Magnetic Flux was originally my techtrance project, with a remix for John O'Callaghan on A State of Trance label and an unreleased bootleg of Sander van Doorn's Punk'd. However I thought from now on I should release all non-melodic oriented stuff under this one. The track is somewhat atmospheric, dark, driving and uses a vocal sample (public domain) from a 1955 horror film Dementia (Daughter of Horror), that really adds to the eerie atmosphere. After the track was finished, immediately the first label that came into my mind was RPO. Since who does dark progressive house better than Rick Pier O'Neil. So initially I was very happy to sign this track there, but unfortunetly they didn't really do any promotion for the release and it went more or less under the radar.
