W&W met up at the infamous Trance Energy event in 2007, to witness their first collaboration 'Mustang' blow away that same crowd only a year later. A unique sound, fusing the melody of trance and electrifying beat of electro with the energy of techno, was born. Now, three years later, the duo has solidified into one of the freshest, most exciting electronic dance acts on the scene. W&W originals 'Arena', 'Mainstage', 'Alpha' and 'AK-47' were instant favourites, as well as their remixes for Armin van Buuren, Marcel Woods, Allure and Aly & Fila. The energetic sets they played at events such as Trance Energy, Tomorrowland and A State of Trance 450 and 500, several Global Gathering events and Nature One to name a few, along with their weekly 'Mainstage' radio show, resulted in a new entry at number 71 of last year's DJ Mag Top 100. On December 31, 2008, I attended Armin Only: Imagine in Los Angeles during the annual Together as One New Years Eve Music Festival. In order to relive the magic of this most epic New Years Eve, I personally assembled, edited, and remixed a 2-hour film of the event's highlights. Originally I had only intended to keep this video to myself, but in light of the new Armin Only about to go down during Monster Massive 2011, I figured now would be a good time to dust it off. Only about 30% of the video footage in this film is my own. The rest of the media has been obtained across the vast inter-webs and painstakingly assembled over six months for your viewing pleasure. Please excuse the occasional poor video quality, I used the best of what was available.
